The artist works on themes and synthetic forms through which he attempts to achieve the maximum potential of plastic intensity. In order to understand his work, the geometry of models and the dynamic generated by the association of simple forms is crucial.
The metallic brightness helps to dematerialize the sculpture’s shape. Towering above the ground in a clear and solid fashion, like a gigantic pedestal, it becomes lighter at the arms. It is suspended over the ground, in a delicate and unstable balance, almost transforming itself into a space object. The formal contrast between these two elements gives meaning to the piece, suggesting a movement of rotation, which is strengthened by our own feeling of being displaced.
